I am honoured, but feel extremely blessed to be taking over as the President of IAGE, which is scaling new heights, with strong foundation and great work by all past presidents and members of their team. Endoscopic surgery is synonymous with women care today and we cannot dissociate it from offering the same to women the world over. The COVID pandemic pushed most of the health issues including Gynaecological endoscopic surgery to take a back seat. Resilient as we are, all of us have reimagined, reshaped ourselves to restart. We have all risen above the challenge, we all have learnt the new way to connect, stay engaged, innovate, learn and share.
It is indeed an honour and a great privilege to assume the office of the Hon. General Secretary of the Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists (IAGE) for the year 2019- 20 and I will strive to meet your expectationsecological Endoscopists in the country, and the membership strength is increasing at a rapid pace. With the advent of state chapters, we expect to see more members joining the organization and a consequent rise in activities.
